Well I made it to the 2nd trimester already! Crazy huh? Last week I went to the OB. Everything looked great. Babe was doing good. The doctor decided to do an ultrasound because he said we have so much invested in this baby and he knows I want to see and make sure it is all fine, so he let me see :-) I am going to be watched maybe a little more closely than normal because of all my history of the perforated bowel, scar tissue, adhesions in the pelvis area, etc. This way, when the uterus is getting bigger and pushing everything up, we know it is all okay! I will go back in 3 weeks instead of 5. Well, I will actually go back in 3 weeks and then again in 5 for the big reveal!!!
Here is a quick picture of the ultrasound. Babe was sleeping so the doctor pushed and poked around on my belly to get him/her to move a little so we could snap a shot. As you can tell, babe's head is blurry :-) The babe was a little lower in my uterus, so that he why he/she is lopsided! Dr. said that is fine and it is not anything he is concerned about...so we will take his word for it! Mom and I couldn't come up with a name for babe in this picture. The best we could think of was Potato Head- because he/she kinda looks like on of those potato heads you play with. At the top is the feet but if it is a potato head, then those are the stuck on eyes! Ha ha

And now for your viewing pleasure...me at 14 weeks!

I am going to try and do better at posting. I get so behind!

Sarah,
My name is jennifer and I live in Lonoke. I am good friends with Sarah Kluthe. I have been reading your blog for a while now- I got on in from kellys korner. I was talking to Sarah tonight and she was telling me about her friend that went through in-vitro 5 times. The more she talked, the more I knew I had heard that story. I realized it was you!! That is so ironic!! My husband and I went through in-vitro twice and have a beautiful 4 year old daughter. I also have a handsome 1 year old son who was "free" as my husband and I say!! It happened all natural. I am so excited that you are pregnant. I shed tears as I read your whole story. I don't know exactly how you felt, but I have had similar ones. I look forward to reading you posts, and now I can keep up with you through Sarah too!! Enjoy your pregnancy.
Jennifer
