49 and 50 Weeks

Since I got behind, I am combining these next two weeks. Ayla is EVERYWHERE! She is walking more than crawling. Basically she hardly ever crawls anymore. I can't believe I have a walker.

Last week Ayla's friend Eden came over. Eden is one day younger than Ayla. Here they are playing with the refridgerator. Ayla tries to reach and grab for everything in sight. There is no stopping this child now. She is the "Destroyer" as her daddy calls her.
Eden turn around. I am trying to show you something!It is so hard to get a picture of her because she is constantly on the move and won't stay still for a second. The other night, I was getting her jammies on and Stuart fixed her bottle. I picked her up and put her in the chair to wait for daddy. He came in and she grabbed the bottle from him and just relaxed in her chair all by herself. It was almost like she was saying "I got this guys!"
Ayla is obsessed with buckets and baskets. She will pick them up and act as if she is going to drink from them and then she will pour ALL the toys over her face. This is unpleasant if there is a somewhat heavy toy in the basket! Ha. So...I am having to put all the light toys in these baskets and have the heavier ones just sitting on the floor.Ayla, you are obsessed with our bathtub. You love to take baths with mommy but when it is not bath time...you keep going into our bathroom and climbing up the step and banging on the bath. This wouldn't bother me but you can't figure out how to get down yet so you have fallen before. Now, I am right there beside you and it is hard to get ready when you are climbing the step.

If you are not climbing the step, you are then climbing up Spanky's doggie ramp and getting on our bed. Again, problem being you can't get down! So, I do suppose it is time for more baby gates and more baby proofing!

You are wearing 12 month clothes and some 18 months- depending on the brand.

You can wear either a size 3 or 4 diaper. If we want more the saggy booty look, that would be a size 4!

It is now Summer for your daddy and he is home! Well, he still has basketball camps and open gym, etc...but for the most part he is home. This makes mommy really happy and I hope I can get more blogging done.

At 50 weeks today, your friend Emily came over to play. Emily is only 6 months old so Ayla did more of the playing. Actually, Ayla did more of the running away and chasing Scrappy down the hall because he stole some of her toys. Hopefully I can lose some more weight chasing this wild child around.I have been so busy creating, crafting and getting stuff ready for her 1st Birthday party! We are doing a colorful zebra theme. Since I am in love with zebra's and since Ayla's room is bright colors and zebra print, we decided to go with that. So we have hot pink, lime green, orange, turquoise and zebra.

I have made lollipop decorations for the yard, dum dum sucker bouquets, centerpieces, one year photo display, lollipop bouquets, painted, glued, cut, etc. I JUST LOVE CRAFTING!!!

So, hopefully I will post again soon! I plan to do a picture post. Those are my favs!
