Can you believe we are already at 16 months? I honestly don't know where the time has gone!
*Ayla you are reaching into everything. Nothing is safe anymore!
*You are really starting to get sneaky and brave at the same time. You are climbing much more now and seem to be quite fearless.
*You can now go up the stars while holding on to a rail. You also can step off the bottom step without any assistance.
*You absolutely LOVE and I mean LOVE unloading the dishwasher. You go to it at least 3 times a day. You love to be a helper.
*You are growing more and more possessive of mommy. When daddy tries to hug or kiss me, you come and get right in the middle of us. You try to either tug daddy away or you start slapping. Not cool.
*You are starting to become a tad naughty and you are "thinking" about pinching and slapping. As a matter of fact, you have slapped a few times and you actually pinched mommy today while I was holding you. This is not going to be fun.
*You have started to "head butt" people. When someone says "Head butt", you stick your head out and want to hit heads with us...don't worry people it's not very hard. What makes this so funny is the fact that you will have to head butt everyone at least twice. We think you have a tad OCD. I'm not sure where you go that from! (Grandad) and mommy ;-)
*You can open a few doors in the house. You love to let your bubs in from outside and once they are in you close the door and start chasing them.
*You are crazy about dancing!!! All someone has to do is start making a beat and no matter where you are, you will start jamming.
*You do this little quick step when we say "quick feet". Dad is teaching you some basketball moves.
*You try to jump. You haven't mastered that yet but you will squat and then you pop up with your hands in the air!
*You can count to 3. You love to say on, te, free! Once we get to free, you will clap and get so excited!
*You are still wearing a size 4 diaper
*You wear 18 month shirts and pants
*You are in a size 4 to 4 1/2 shoes
*You make the craziest faces!
*You are a total drama queen and everything you do is dramatic and crazy! We LOVE it!!!
*Ayla, you have very bold and amazing personality! Please don't ever let the world change who you are.
16 Month Well Visit Stats:
23.2 pounds
33 inches long
48 cm head circumference
Not so happy after her shots :-(

Ayla really loves going down her slide!
This is Ayla's "Ahhh" Excited face!!!
A cute Halloween outfit at church- not too "Halloweeny" for church right? Ha
This was our church's Fall Festival. The theme was "70's! Even though the Wizard of Oz wasn't in the 70's...we couldn't pass up this cuteness! And just for your viewing pleasure...a stink face and my mom...can anyone guess who she was?
Love this picture!

Here Grammie, let me hand you this pan very carefully
I am sooooo excited that I can see myself in this bowl mom!
I was in the kitchen and then walked into her playroom. She had taken EVERY ball out of her little tent and they were all over the floor!
Stink Face #1
Stink Face #2
She insisted on trying on Spanky's sheep costume!
Stink Face #3
Stink Face #4
Why play with your stackable blocks when you can stack mom's diet root beer cans? Ha!
Little love of my life
What makes this picture a tad funnier is the fact that she got in her ball tent completely naked! Yep, I was changing her...she jumped right up and ran and took a dive in her ball pit. So needless to say...those balls had to be cleaned off and sterilized.
Dancing in the kitchen

Sweet princess playing at church
Ayla, you love to laugh and we love to make you laugh so we can hear it!
This is Ayla's dirt cake face. She had to try a few bites of some oreo dirt cake. Don't you love the look of a precious messy face?
And who can resist playing in her daddy's car seat when it is in the house?
Ayla and her Mommy

When you tell Ayla to do a flip, she will immediately lay down on the ground and roll over. Then while she is still laying there she will say "Yay" and start to clap.

Do your flip Ayla, do your flip!!!

Mom, I see you. What do you want?
We are finally...slowly but surely growing some hair!
