I am 34 weeks and 2 days! Amazing! I can't believe Ayla will be here in 5 weeks or less. I say 5 weeks because we are pretty certain my doctor will not let me go to 40 weeks! Thank goodness- I would be super large marge!
I had my doctor appointment on Friday! Good news- these last 2 weeks, I didn't gain a pound! That was nice- seeing as how I am looking a little large ;-) My doctor also measured my belly and said that I am caught up now. At first for a while, I was measuring 2 weeks early. He said I am about where I should be now...maybe a few days early but I am measuring right on track!
I told him "Well, I am getting the look...you know, where people ask you- "When are you due again". I tell them July 3rd and they are like "Oh"- while giving me that look like girl you are large and are never gonna make it!" Ha ha! He said, well Sarah, you are just one of those lucky ones who is carrying her bigger in front. Some carry lower, or they might me more sparse- from the sides and hips and butt, etc...but she is all in front on the belly! He asked my mom how she carried and mom said she was huge! She had the belly all stuck out in front! So I guess it's just us and how we carry babies!
I am 100% okay with that. I don't care as long as Ayla is healthy and fine...then I am fine :-) She is pressing ALOT on my bladder and my groin. I asked him about the groin pain to make sure that was "normal" and he said "Welcome to 33 weeks"! Ha I figured it was and I can handle it...sometimes I have to stop b/c the pain stops you dead in your tracks! Same with peeing...I swear to you, I am going at least every 30 minutes to an hour! Incredible that I can pee that much! But when you gotta go, you can't hold it- it hurts!
So, I am a peeing, large bellied machine! Welcome to 34 weeks!
I go back to the doc in 2 weeks and then every week until she is here! I can't wait! I just want her here and to hold her in my arms!!!

Congratulations to making it this far! :-) Who cares how big or small you are as long as you and your family are happy and your sweet girl is safe and sound. You worked hard for this pregnancy and deserve to show it off! haha I don't know you but am thrilled God answered your prayers. I pray that she is the blessing you have been praying for.

My best friend is also around 34 weeks along and she is also having to go to the bathroom ALL the time, haha!

congrats on 34 weeks absolutely amazing! Just wait on the peeing thing until you reach closer to the end you will feel like you need to make a permanent home in the restroom..haha!
I have to say, that's one of my favorite parts of not being pregnant anymore (having the baby in my arms is #1 of course) - the fact that I no longer have to go pee every 30 minutes. In fact, I can almost go a whole night without waking up to go to the bathroom (although now I wake up to feed my little one - much better trade off!). Congratulations on being so close, I know you're going to make it just great through the end of pregnancy.
