7 Months

Ayla, 7 months has already passed and it is so hard to believe. You are growing so fast. Every time we blink our eyes you are doing something new and amazing.

This week you said "mama" more and it seems you really like to say it when you are wanting and needing something. Daddy thinks it's funny because you say it when you are upset. I told him it's because you know that mommy is the one who is the best and takes care of you.

You have started making new faces. Your newest face is one where you strain, put your hands in a fist, and then your face turns red. You think this is funny. You seem to do it a lot when you are wanting to sit up or when you are eating.

You are a crazy child when we try to change your diaper. The one things that seems to get you to calm down is giving you the "boogie sucker". Don't worry...we clean it. But you love to hold it and talk into it. Mommy calls it your microphone. This seems to be the only way you will lay still for a short time so we can change your diaper. Many times when we are trying to get you dressed, we have to put your clothes on when you are backwards. It works but sometimes it is really hard.

You have started to notice the bows on your head and you like to pull them off. This makes mommy sad, but hopefully you will still want to wear them. You look so cute in them!!!

You still don't have any teeth that have broke through...but you certainly are teething. You love to chew on anything and you bite down hard. You are extra slobbery these days!
You are so perfect and amazing. We love you so much and can't wait for many more months and years to come!
