Ayla, you are at a super fun stage right now. You are on the move and there is no slowing you down. You are EVERYWHERE! One of your favorite places to end up is by the dog food bowl. You love to play in the water and try to eat the dog food. We continually tell you "no no" but you seem to think that it is still okay to do it anyway. Daddy spatted your hand last time and you got mad at him. You screamed at him. It's hard to believe you are already finding your personality and attitude and that you know what you want and get mad when you don't get it. How can you already know how to do this?
You are starting to get a little jealous of Spanky and Scrappy. You can be minding your own business playing with your toys but when you see or hear mommy sweet talking the boys...you come running and squalking. Once you get to me, you are crawling up on me and pulling up on me. It is so sweet but I know soon we better try to keep you from getting jealous. I thought the dogs are supposed to be the ones who get jealous?
You are teething right now and you have been a tad on the high maintenance side. You...never! Ha ha. One is trying to break through beside your two bottom teeth and then your two top front teeth are also right there trying to come through.
This past week and then again this week, you had your first experience with tornado warnings. That was not fun running to get you out of bed, load you up and head up the road to our friends house. They have a safe room and we feel much more comfortable there during tornado warnings. We were worried how you would do but when we got there...you were a little wild woman crawling around and having a good time. Once we got you home, Daddy rocked you for less than 5 minutes and you were out. Same for the second time...you played while we were there and then passed out as soon as we got home. That makes things much easier for mommy and daddy so thank you.
You are so hard to take a picture of. I can barely get you to slow down. We may end up having you in "just your diaper" pictures because you are a real toot to get dressed.
I turned on the t.v the other morning and noticed that "Yo Gabba Gabba" was on. I sat you down after feeding you and you went straight for the t.v and watched in awe. It was so cute. You then starting talking to the t.v and bouncing while you were sitting.
You are growing up so fast. I never thought I could love you more but I do love you more each and everyday. Love you to the moon and back!
