13 Months Old

Seriously...we just had your 1st birthday and now it's already been a month!

You are a talking machine. You can say dada, mama, bubba, grandad, ice, nat nat, no, this, night night-and I think that's all.

You throw your hands up in the air when you are "all done". Mommy taught you to do this so when you are in your highchair, the bath, or somewhere where you are finished with something-you throw your hands up in the air and wait for us to look. The funniest thing about this is that you will grab all the food off your tray and have wads of stuff in your hands and then be "all done". It's like you are getting it all and wanting down with it to eat.

You are not to thrilled with vegetables right now. I'm not sure what the problem is. We keep trying new ones and the same ones you have had before. We will keep trying and hopefully you will pick them back up again.

When you want something that you can't reach or get, you come find mommy and hold up your arm and go "uh, uh", while walking to show me what you want.

You LOVE to dance. You will dance to any music or anything that makes music. Elevator music, etc...you will find the beat and dance. You really like Taylor Swift. You love to squeal and sing to her in the car.

You are totally obsessed with the dogs! You follow them everywhere and when they finally stop, you are right there to love on them. You especially love to nestle your head on Spanky.

You love the freedom of being able to roam and go crazy. You love to go into the bathroom and unroll all the toilet paper. Fun to do...but not so fun for mommy to clean up.

When it is time to eat...all we have to say is "Go to your chair" and you head right to your seat and try to climb in.

You really like the bath book "Silly Fish". You go get it all the time and you like to change your voice up and down to mimic the way mommy reads it to you.

You are wearing size 4 diapers

You wear size 12-18 month clothes. 12 month shirts are too short for you! They are belly shirts and we certainly aren't going to have any of those in our house!

You are doing so many things Ayla. You are such a ham! You love to be the center of attention and you love to everyone to watch and laugh at you. How could we not? You are the center of the universe!
