This morning was the egg retrieval day. Stuart and I arrived at the office at 8:45, even when I wasn't supposed to be there until 9. Once I got seated and picked up my book "The Shack"- which I would recommend to anyone! Amazing book... lifted my left to cross in the chair- they called my name.
So, they took us to the back and did all the vital checks and started my IV. Gave me some medicine that dissolves under my tongue to calm me down, and some for nausea (since last time I threw up after I woke up).
The results are in. They retrieved 13 eggs. I must say that I was disappointed since the last time they retrieved 19. My mom said don't lose that hope because that is Satan trying to get me discouraged and put down. It only takes one good egg and one good sperm to make a baby. We have 13 chances- which is much more than somepeople. So, I am thankful that it went very smoothly and I did not get sick this time.
Stuart gave me a necklace for my birthday with the Christian fish and a mustard seed inside. I got to wear it this morning. It meant so much to us and to me. We have the faith and we know and feel certain that we are in His will and that this time, IT WILL WORK! Please continue to pray for us. They will call in the morning to tell us how many fertilized and how they are doing. Praying and hoping they are dividing and are looking the best ever! I will keep you updated! Thanks so much for your prayers! We covent them more than you know!
