Transfer Complete

Hello Blogger community,

This is Stuart (with the assistance of Sarah.)

This morning at 9:30 we made our way to the clinic for the transfer. We were excited to know that the two embryos being transferred were an 8 cell excellent and and 8 cell excellent-good. We were also happy to find out that 3 of the embryos were able to be frozen. They are keeping a watch on the other 6 in hopes that some of them will be able to be frozen as well.

The transfer went well. However, there was quite a bit of discomfort due to the size of the ovary. It was big enough that it was pushing on the uterus and made it difficult for Dr. Batras to see.

Dr. Batras was great during the whole transfer. Sarah was crying because of the flood of emotions as well as the pain. After the transfer was complete Dr. Batras took Sarah's hand and said "In God We Trust," which was such a blessing to hear at that time. We were both grateful to have him doing the transfer.

Please continue to pray that God's will be done.

Sarah will post again on Tuesday after her two days of bed rest.

Just a side note... Today's title of the daily devotion that Sarah and I have been doing is "Turning Trials into Triumph." God speaks to us in many ways. What a comfort to have His reassurance during this time of stress.

In His Grip,
Sarah and Stuart
