Hey everyone...I am back from the egg retrieval and just awake enough to post. I have been back here at my brother's house since like 11:00 but have been sleeping until now. It was a nice nap.
Here's the information
They retrieved 20 eggs!! Yes, that is right, 20! I am not sure how I feel about 20. I thought the whole idea of going slow was to not have as many eggs and this time there was more than ever.
IVF #1- 19 eggs
IVF #2- 13 eggs
IVF #3- 20 eggs
So, I am not sure what happened and I don't care as long as I have a precious baby from one of those 20 eggs. God is in control and He has this figured out long before I even began to try!!! Please be praying that many fertilize and that they will all make it to blasts! I have never had a blast. All the fertilized eggs have only made it to 8 and 10 cells. This is why we wanted less eggs so maybe they would be strong enough to keep dividing and not slow down. Please pray they do not slow down!!!!!!!!!
I will post again tomorrow after the embryologist calls with the report! Prayers, prayers, prayers!!!!

My husband and I did IVF as well and I only had 8 eggs...only 2 to transfer. We now have a daughter.
Praying that this IVF cycle works for you! I know how stressful and emotional it is!
