Fertilization Report

Hey everyone...I am finally home back in Arkansas. While I loved being in Texas with my family, there is just nothing like sleeping in your own bed with your puppies!!!

The embryologist called this morning and here is our report...
Out of the 20 eggs retrieved- 15 fertilized! I am very happy about that. He said 2 more are partially fertilized, just not all the way yet- so technically we have 17 that fertilized. They are keeping those 2 separate from the other ones just to watch them because they might not make it as far as the others.

This clinic doesn't give grades or all that information about how many cells etc. So...our transfer is set for Wednesday- Day 5! I have never been a day 5 before...so I am hoping and praying so desperately that these embryos make it to the blast stage and will be wonderful embryos to transfer on Wednesday! Please pray that they keep dividing quickly and do not slow down.

"God, it is never too early to pray for my future children. God, will you watch over my body as it prepares to welcome a child into my womb? Will you work out everything for good and make sure the conditions are just right for conception? I want to pray even now for this child who will someday rest in my arms. Would you protect that baby? Would you help him/her grow up to be healthy and happy? To be a child who falls in love with Jesus and never stops growing in his/her relationship with You? Please give me the discipline to pray for my child every day for the rest of my life!" In Jesus Name, Amen

This is the BEST NEWS EVER!! I saw your update on my bloglist and I stopped and said a prayer that at least half of the eggs were fertilized. When I read 15 and possibly 17, I just thanked God again...this is it FRIEND!!! Love ya!

That's a great report Sarah! whoo hoo!!! I wondered when you were at the L.R. clinic how you were getting all these daily reports--I knew Dallas didn't do that. In fact, C.A.R. didn't give me my levels at each appt either. Did you ask for that? I'm excited for you guys too! Love you!
