35 weeks 2 days

Well, we have made it to 35 weeks! YEAH!!! I am feeling large, bloated and heavy!

This was my 34 weeks 5 days picture...so I thought I could put it up for 35 weeks since I was only 2 days away- and also b/c I haven't taken my 35 weeks. I meant to take it Sunday on our way to church...but I forgot!
I am feeling okay. Ayla has moved down and there is a lot of pressure down there now. I have had quite a bit of cramping- like period cramping in the past week. I also have been pretty nauseated, loose stools for about 3 weeks now (TMI) and just not feeling well.

I went to the doctor today to have things checked out. My cervix hasn't changed yet but Ayla is down there really low. That internal exam for the first time- yikes...it was quite uncomfortable. At the appointment, I did however have some protein in my urine, borderline blood pressure, and had a rapid weight gain of 4 lbs in 8 days! Yeah-I know. I do know these are all the beginning signs of preeclampsia so...I am going back again on Friday to recheck everything. I am not super swollen or anything like that, so I am just going to take it easy, keep drinking water and propping my feet up!

Hopefully everything will be back to normal on Friday. My doctor didn't seem too concerned and he just said he will check again on Friday and then we will go from there. We will be doing an ultrasound soon to see just how big she is getting. I am ready for her NOW!!!

So, I will keep you all updated and let you know how things go! Not much longer!!!

Sounds like Ayla is getting ready to make her way into the world. It's good that she is down low. Drake was pretty high when I was admitted to the hospital at 5cm dilated, and I ended up pushing longer than I would have had he been lower.

how exciting that you are getting so close! I know my dr told me that nausea was a sign that the baby was dropping. Hope things go well on Friday.
