15 Weeks

Ayla you are 15 weeks old. You are growing and changing so much. You are constantly smiling! We love talking to you and having you talk back to us. It is so much fun carrying on a conversation with you. Sometimes when you are talking and we get up to go to another room for something, you tend to talk a little louder :-) You are such a great night sleeper! Mommy and Daddy thank you so much for that. You are getting better at your naps, which makes Mommy really happy. Some days you nap in Mommy's arms for a while. It is hard to get things done around the house when you are doing this, but you won't be this little for long so Mommy is enjoying it while she can. You still have your very high pitched scream. I swear you sound like a toddler screaming when you are mad. We are changing our tone with you when you do this and telling you "No Ma'am". Hopefully soon you will understand that this is not good. Mommy caught you sucking on your thumb this week. Once you found it, you would suck on it for a few minutes and then stop. Then you would search for it again. It is quite cute to watch you try to find your hand and then you thumb. You are grabbing at things a little more now and you are spinning yourself around when you are under your jungle gym. We know pretty soon you will be rolling over everywhere. We are amazed and so thankful that God blessed us with you. You are the light of our lives!
