16 Weeks

Ayla, this week mommy has started having you "stand" up at different times. It is pretty funny, because when she praises you you think it's a game. Your laughter is the greatest sound on earth. You have become fairly ticklish, and daddy loves to tickle under your chin. Bath time is still a favorite of yours. You have started to enjoy sitting up more than lying down. Mommy has been working with you sitting in your Bumbo. You still need assistance, of course, but you are getting stronger. You are still yet to roll all the way over, but you get half way quite often. However, this aggravates you. It won't be long and we won't be able to stop you from getting away from us. You love it when daddy comes home from school. Regardless of what mood you are in, you always smile when he lifts you into the air. It is definitely the highlight of his day. Everyday is a new blessing with new firsts. We love you so much.
