4 Months

Ayla you are 4 months old! We can hardly believe that 4 months ago you were born. You amaze us more and more each day. You are trying to sit up on your own. We will be sitting with you in the chair or on the couch and you keep lifting yourself up and wanting to sit up. You even try to sit up when you are in your carseat. This usually makes you mad because you are snug in your car seat and you would rather be sitting up. You still haven't rolled over yet. You get about half way and then you change your mind and flop back ;-) You love laying under your jungle gym and slapping and grabbing the animals. You really enjoy pulling your paci out of your mouth. You try to put it back in yourself but you have only mastered that a few times. This usually makes you mad too when you can't get it back in. Anything you take hold of and grab goes straight to your mouth. You are still super interested in your tongue. It is so cute to watch you lick your arms, blankets, etc. Sometimes you lick our faces when we are trying to burp you and you are holding your head up. There have been a few times that you start to suck mommy's chin! I love this. It tickles!!!

You have to go to the doctor on Monday for your 4 month visit and your shots. I know you will be a big girl and will handle the shots like a princess! I can't wait to see how much you weigh and just how much you are growing!!!

You are everything to us! We love you more than words could ever express!!!
