14 Months Old

Well, apparently blogging everyday didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to. Oh well, I'm working on it.

Tuesday- Little Miss was 14 Months Old

What's New

* She runs! She walks quick, she runs, she is absolutely everywhere

* She is all about climbing! She is obsessed with climbing up and down the 3 stairs on our back patio. She can go up them standing up and walking like an adult but she needs a little assistance.

* She loves taking things out of boxes, tubs, etc and putting them back in again or into

somewhere new.

*She loves getting in things herself. She got a small basket down the other day and took the book and papers out of it and decided she wanted to sit in it.

*She understands commands: Now this doesn't mean she follows them all, but she definitely knows them. For instance, "Go get in your chair", she will head for her high chair and try to climb in.

*She loves to make faces...especially the "stink eye".

*She loves to take bubble baths and eat dum-dums! :-)

*She loves to go get my Swiffer mopper and carry it around the house and "clean" the walls.

*She points her finger at everything. If she wants something, she will point straight at it and if you are not in there with her, she will come to you and say "Uh" and will point and walk over to what she is wanting.

*She makes various sounds for her words. She says "ch" chesse, chair, "sna" for snack...which is also breakfast, lunch and dinner :-), she says "ba" for ball, bath. She can say ball and duck and not just the sounds for those.

This is Ayla the multi-tasker. She couldn't carry all the glue sticks with her hands so she decided she would be able to get that 5th one. She was helping me clean out my scrapbooking tote.

Can I have my food now please?

Everything off the bookshelf and into my basket please
