*You are starting to smile more- like today when I was talking to you and you made this HUGE smile...melted my heart and daddy got a little jealous!
*You are staring to make more noises- grunts, coos, etc. I love listening to you
*You are doing well at breastfeeding and drinking from a bottle. I pump for you and give it to you through a bottle some to make sure you are getting enough...I think it's fair to say that with your weight, you are doing just fine :-) You also still breastfeed and you are doing wonderfully at latching on- however you still like to fall asleep when breastfeeding
*You went to church on Sunday-which was your first Sunday at church. Everyone loved you! Natalie was there at church and she just had to come see you

* You loved the water for about 10 minutes and then you had enough and you let us know. Here you are in your swim suit! Too precious!
*When you get cranky, you will scream and frantically kick your arms and legs. It's pitiful! Here is a picture of getting angry*You are sleeping GREAT! We usually put you down between 10:30-11:30 after your night feeding. You have been sleeping about 4-5 hours before waking again to eat. It is so nice to get some sleep. Thank you baby girl- keep it going.
*You LOVE your baths. You took a bath with mommy the other night and just laid on my tummy. You even held yourself up with your arms to look at me face to face. It was a precious time!
Update on Mommy
Well, I haven't lost all my baby weight...not even close. On the day before Ayla was born, I maxed out at 202 lbs. Today I am currently 169. That is great but geez...I want to get back down to my 140-145 so I still have quite a ways to go.
My tummy is amazingly flabby. It's amazing how it stretches for a baby and then is just all loose and flabby afterwards. I have tons of stretch marks- which I will say that I AM PROUD OF! I prayed for them and the Lord granted them to me :-)
You are a miracle Ayla! We are LOVING EVERY SINGLE MOMENT WITH YOU!!!

I am so happy you said that about your stretch marks!!! So often mothers complain about their body after baby and what some of us would give to have that problem!!!! Just like whAt I am saying as I feel so sick from all fuses stimulation drugs.... " I wanted and prayed for this" so I will embrace it ALL!!!
Ayla is so cute!!!
She is gorgeous! I'm glad nursing is going well! Very smart of you to bottle feed her to monitor her intake! Glad you're enjoying motherhood- it's great to get a view of "the other side" from someone who's been where we are now!
the pictures are so adorable! i know you are blessed to have her, but she is more blessed to have you! she will be the most loved baby around :)
She is just adorable! And getting that fabulous baby chubbiness. I love it. You look great too! The flabby belly gets much better. I've only lost 3 lbs since my weight sort of "settled" but I'm fitting in most of my clothes now. The inches melt away when all the fluid finally lets go. Don't worry, you'll get there!!! XOXOXOXO
Oh that pic of her screaming, that's a familiar look that we get around here as well, lol! She's adorable Sarah!
Sarah, you do not know me, but I have been following your blog after finding your button on a friend's blog. I finally had to write and say CONGRATULATIONS on your beautiful baby girl! I have been and will continue to pray for sweet Ayla. Your journey was a tough one, but I can relate. Our sweet, miracle baby boy, Casey James, joined our family on March 15. Most wonderful blessing and most wonderful times! I have enjoyed following your pregnancy and these first precious weeks of Ayla's life. Thank you for sharing! God bless!
