7 Weeks Old

Ayla, you are 7 weeks old. You continue to amaze us with how beautiful you are. We both love to hold you and laugh at your fake cry. Watching your bottom lip quiver melts our heart. You are sleeping very well through most of the night. You typically sleep 5-6 hrs., which is good because daddy is starting school. Napping during the day is a different story, though. Today was the first "good" nap you have taken. Mommy thought it would be one of your 30 min. cat naps, but then you slept for 2 straight hours. So, as I write this, I hope it doesn't keep you up through the night. You are a noisy little lady before, and sometimes while, you sleep. You coo and grunt. We can't help but watch you on the video monitor and chuckle. The way you move and flail lets us understand a little better why mommy felt so many knees and elbows in her belly. You don't have to ever feel as though you are in danger, we have a video AND a movement monitor for your crib. We love you more than you will ever know. You are truly our angel sent from God.
