Ayla, you are 6 weeks old! I can't believe how fast you are growing.*You smiled at me yesterday and for the first time... I believe it is because you know who your mommy is- I cried :-)
*You smiled a lot today too :-)
* You are still in newborn diapers but I think we will be moving you out shortly. They are getting a little snug on your legs
*You are wearing 0-3 month clothes- the newborn onesies are too short for you because you are so long
*You are starting to lose some hair! NOOO!!! I wanted you to keep all of your hair. Everyone assures me this is normal and that it will grow back- I just wanted you to keep it all and not lose it in spots
*You are still getting breast milk but it is becoming a challenge because my supply is starting to drop. I have been supplementing when we don't have quite enough for a full feeding so I think we will be switching to solely formula soon. This makes me sad and feel guilty but I need to do what is best for mommy and for you and I think switching will make you more consistent and have less tummy troubles
* Daddy starts back to work tomorrow so it will just be Ayla and Mommy. I am looking forward to mommy/Ayla time but am a little nervous about being solely on my own...it is SO nice to have a super hands on daddy who helps all the time
* You have quite the temper...I am not sure where you get that! Ha! You are just a girl and you know how you like things done ;-)

aw she's so precious!! sorry to hear your supply is dropping, mine did the same thing around 3 months. i had to start supplementing, then by 5 months it was almost completely gone. but hey sometimes nature has other plans ;)
Awww! I know I say this every time but she is just precious! I can't wait to meet her one day! And don't feel guilty about FF. B was solely FF and he is 100% healthy! =)

much cuteness. ben helps me, too, and i don't know what girls do with a husband who doesn't help. there is a reason it takes two to make one, right?! ;) formula has been really good for us. good luck.
I cannot bleieve that she is 6 weeks old. She is just darlin!! Watching them smile jus tmelts your heart uh? Just wait til she says Mamma for the frist time. Precious!
