HAPPY TWO MONTHS!

You are still sleeping amazingly well through the night. We just made our first trip with you to Granny and Poppy's house. Mommy was nervous that you wouldn't handle an environment change very well, but you were perfect. Fussy time is still a regular thing from 5:30ish to 9. But that is ok because you make some of your "funniest" faces during that time. Tomorrow is your doctor appointment to get your shots. Hopefully the side effects from the shots are minimal. You have been smiling more and more, which is wonderful because your smile gives angels wings and lights up hearts.

Hey Sarah! Can't believe she is 2 months ALREADY!!!

I was wondering if you have ever tried putting her to bed earlier? I am BY NO MEANS an expert -really, truly, I am just wingin' this motherhood thing =) - but we read the book "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby" and the author suggests if the babies have a chronic "witching hour" or hourS, that they may need to go to bed earlier. Sure enough, our babies go to bed between 6:30pm and 7:30pm each night (depending on when they last napped in the afternoon). For the last month they have been going down at this time with no problems, it really seems to be their natural bed time.

BUT- they don't sleep through the night =(. They get up between 1-2am usually to eat, because they have gone to bed so early. SO there is obviously a trade off there, and you may be better off having fussy time in the evening, but getting a FULL nights sleep! HA! =)
