22 Weeks

Ayla you are growing up so fast. You are now 22 weeks old! Today it all of a sudden clicked in your little mind and you were a rolling machine! I have been working with you trying to get you to roll over and today all of a sudden you just decided you were ready. We got some video of you rolling over and it is too cute. You get so proud of yourself! Spanky and Scrappy get really proud of you too, although when we are clapping for you Scrappy thinks it's for him :-)

You are in love with Spanky. You follow him around with your eyes and you love for him to give you sugar. When he licks your hand you just giggle and laugh! It is hard sometimes because right after he licks your hand you want to immediately put it in your mouth but mommy has to hurry and get a wipey and wipe your hands!

You are really drooling a lot lately. I think you are starting to cut some teeth. They haven't broken through or anything but you like to lick and gnaw on everything-even mommy's face!

You get mad sometimes when you are on your back because you try to lift yourself up. It makes you frustrated that you can't get up by yourself. You will straighten out your legs and you have this tough look about you. Your arms stiffen and you try to pull yourself up. I have a feeling you are going to be quite the strong willed child. I have no idea where you got that from ;-)

We can't wait to watch you grow even more...even though it makes us sad that you are growing up so fast.
