18 Weeks

Ayla you are growing up so fast. You are such a funny, happy baby. You smile all the time which is the prettiest smile in the world. You are wearing some size 0-3 month clothes as well as the 3-6 months. The 3-6 month shirts are too wide for you but they are long enough for your long body. The pants fit great in the length but they are also too wide for you. You will grow into them soon enough. You love to lay under your jungle gym and grab and slap at the toys. You still don't have much interest in rolling over. You get halfway but then just stop and roll back. I suppose you will do it in your own time. We will just keep working with you on it and when you are ready you will tackle it. You are way more interested in leaning up and sitting up. You try to sit up out of your car seat and anytime we are with you on the couch or recliner you try to sit up. Mommy put you in your exersaucer for the first time the other day. You stayed in it about 5 minutes and then you were ready to get out.

We can't wait for your first Christmas. Mommy is ready to get out our Christmas decorations and put up our tree! I know you will love the lights. You are interested in lots of things now. You follow us around with your eyes and watch our every move! It is so funny to watch.
