19 Weeks Old

You are 19 weeks old today!

Ayla, you are growing so quickly right before our eyes. This week has been rough for you-and for us too. You have had your first experience with getting sick! You have been all congested, coughing and sneezing. Then you had diarrhea for the past 5 days. You wouldn't eat much and the doctor ended up giving you some medicine for your tummy. We are hoping it helps you very soon!!! Mommy hates it when you are sick. You are still smiling and talking but I can just tell you don't feel very well. Unfortunately, now mommy is starting to get sick! We can't be sick because basketball season has started. We have to be able to go to daddy's ballgames!

You love to grab at things! You really love to sit up by yourself on the couch or in the chair. You feel like such a big girl :-) Your hair isn't really growing very much. You may end up like mommy and have peach fuzz until you are 3. I do hope you hair starts to grow soon. Your eyes are still a deep grayish blue. I am not sure if they are going to turn brown like mommy and daddy's but whatever color they are...we will love them! You did find your feet once this week but it wasn't for very long. I can't wait for when you become obsessed with them. That will be a lot of fun to watch! You rolled over once by yourself this week also. I clapped and praised you...hoping you would do it again but just once was good for you ;-) Dad was sad he missed it but you haven't done it since so hopefully he will catch it!

I hope by next week you are feeling MUCH, MUCH better! Mommy doesn't like you being sick!
