Lupron Days Continue

Stuart and I got back from Harrison on Sunday evening! We had a great time visiting with friends and family! The shots went fine while I was there. I tried to get Stuart's dad to watch but he wouldn't. No one wants to watch the shots in the tummy! I would want to watch someone do it. But, oh well.

The shots are going great. Sometimes they sting a little, but not bad at all. I did finally start my period on Sunday and I called the doctor's office this morning. They called me back and my nurse Debbie told me to come in Wednesday morning at 8:00. Good grief, you know what time I am going to have to get up- yeah, well if you don't, I'll tell you. I live about 1 1/2 away from the clinic- so...we need to leave by 6:30, which means I need to get up about an hour earlier than that. So...5:30- whew, that's early. I don't even think there is light at 5:30 am.

Wednesday will be a long day. Mom and I are going to LR for my baseline appointment. They will do an ultrasound and bloodwork to make sure there are no cysts and that the hormone levels are as they should be. I think I will have to order another set of Lupron shots, b/c mine is a 14 day and I will be out on Friday. I also believe I will be starting the stimulatory shots this coming weekend. I could be wrong- but I think that's right.

After the docs, we are headed over to Hot Springs to see my grandparents. My grandma Betty is sponsoring a fashion show at Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs. She was really wanting me and my mommy to come so we are. Hot Springs is about an 1 1/2 away from LR, so we will drive there and then drive home later that evening- which it is about another hour and 1/2 back home to Danville. So- super long day!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Remember to keep the faith and stay strong! God is faithful!

sounds like you had fun. i'm glad your shots are going well. one thing though, if you do the HCG trigger shot, be forewarned it BURNS. I did mine over 2 weeks ago, and the spot where I did it is still sore to the touch! that's just my 2 cents, LOL!

thanks for the sweet and supportive comments on my blog!!!
